Wish Upon A Star!

Here's a card using the new Stampin' Up! Classic Stars Jumbo Wheel and Silver Embossing Powder! I don't use embossing powders much but I love Silver and Night of Navy. I've also rolled the same wheel with Versamark onto the Ballet Blue card base.

And I have to add a pic of the kids down at the lake yesterday! We went down and fed the ducks and took Oscar to the dog park! I can NEVER get a good photo of the 4 of them any more!!! They never all sit still at once! LOL

Bling!

I've had a few spare minutes to play with the new Outline Alphabet set again! Not the most complicated card, but I think it's cute. I've used the new Purely Pomegrante ink to stamp the letters and coloured in all bar the overlapping parts with the same ink pad and blender pens! (I got the idea from
kwernerdesign)

The paper is part of our new Berry Bliss 12x12 paper pack and I've used my 2 way glue pen & Dazzling Diamond Glitter to add some BLING! Not sure if you can see it as I have a hard time photographing glitter!

Thanks!

Just had to share a pic of some beautiful flowers one of my team members brought over for me! Aren't they just so pretty! Thanks Jenny H!!!!

High School Musical on Ice!

Well after all the excitement of Convention, Sunday afternoon I took my daughter to see High School Musical on Ice! Anyone with a daughter around the 8yo mark, will know just how crazy they are about these movies, and she was thrilled to be able to see this show!!! I must say I enjoyed it too, and I even knew half the song words as well! (it always seems to be playing in the background at home LOL)

Convention 2008!

Well I'm back from our Stampin' Up! Convention! What a fantastic time we had! We learnt lots of new ideas and techniques and got to meet up with amazing people! Here's our team photo at the awards night dinner! I was so thrilled to cheer for 6 of my team members who received awards!

I was also lucky to receive the incentive trip award this year, as well as tie for second place for the number of new team members to join for the year, a sales award and I placed at #13 in the top 25 Demonstrators of the year! We had a great time and can't wait till next year's convention in Canberra!

Oh and the Blog Candy (drawn by my 6yo son) goes to Michelle! Please email me your postal address Michelle and I'll pop it in the mail ASAP! Also Tina, Violet, Robyne, Tracey H, Hilmarose, Lynda & Claudia, please email me your postal addresses and I'll send you off an In Colours swatch! (I think I know who a few of you are LOL)

And now for some blog candy. This is open to Australian residents only, you also can't be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. So leave a comment by Sunday morning and you'll go into a randon draw to win "So Many Sayings" which is one of the NEW level one hostess sets! Also the first 6 people to leave comments will also recieve a FREE colour swatch of the new Stampin' Up! In Colours for 2008/09! (I'll contact you for your postal address)

Two Posts in One Day!

Here's a bag I decorated for one of my team members! It's using the new In Colours again, this time Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava and River Rock. I've used Big Pieces and Little Pieces again and also my new Outline Alphabet! It doesn't do much for me in the catalogue but it's got sooo much potential. This time I've just stamped it so it overlaps a little and I think it comes out great! I can't wait to have a good play with it!

More pics!

Well I've had a chance to play with my new In Colours! Here's a card using Bud Basics stamp set, such a gorgeous simple set! You might not be able to see in the pic, but I've also used the Sanded background stamp on the Purley Pomegrante card.

And here's a photo of my swaps that I've made for convention which starts tomorrow! I got a whole 85 swaps completed and 25 ATC's!

In Colours!

Well it's the first day of the school holidays and we ended up spending half of it getting my 4yo daughter an ultrasound! It turns out she has a hernia! Not sure when they'll operate to fix it..we'll have to go back to the doc tomorrow to work that out! It isn't hurting her at the moment thank goodness.

BUT we got home just after lunch to find two wonderful boxes waiting for me! My new catalogue orders have arrived!! I can spend my evening mounting 12 new stamp sets! And check out the new In Colours!!! OMG they are gorgeous! The stitched ribbon comes in all colours and the striped ribbon comes in Wild Wasabi as well as some colours from our regular range. The colours are:
(Ink Pads, top left to right) Purely Pomegranate, Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, (middle) Groovy Guava, Wld Wasabi (bottom) River Rock.

More Swaps!

It's only 1 week now until our Stampin' Up! Convention! I've been busy making more swaps and thought I'd share them! The first is using a set called Big Pieces which was in one of our mini catalogues and has made it into our new catalogue! I haven't played with it before and I'm really liking it! I've also used a set called Little Pieces which was one of my first Stampin' Up! sets!! They go together perfectly! The colours I've used are:
Pumpkin Pie, Apricot Appeal & Ballet Blue!

The next card (yes I'm posting two in one day!) is using a new set called Perfect Princess and the matching wheel - Perfectly Pretty. One of my team members has it and I had a play with it the other day. This is a very pink card! (Regal Rose, Rose Red & Pretty in Pink). I've highlighted it with glitter which isn't all that clear in the photo. Notice the awesome scallop punch?! It's in the new catalogue and you'll be seeing it a lot more as I just LOVE IT!!!

If you would like to order anything from the new catalouge or would like your own copy ($12.95 incl postage) contact me now!
