Voila!....

Soccer and netball were both rained out today so we had a relaxing day at home. It was still rainy and windy so the kids had electronic babysitters most of the day! (Though I was a little more freaked with them today as I'd been checking out U Tube Last night! Can you believe the amount of TV's that have been smashed by the Wii controllers! LOL) Anyway I got to play with some stamps! I thought I'd give the colour challenge at kwernerdesign a go for the first time and this is what I ended us with!

Another post! Amazing for me! LOL First of all, most of you would have heard of the MS Read A Thon. My 8yo daughter Britney is taking part this year and is collecting sponsorship. If you are able to help her (any small amount will help) you can do it all online now at her own MS Read A Thon site HERE She's a real bookworm, and reminds me so much of my obsession with books at her age!

Now here's a layout I did at our retreat! It's using the Ahoy Matey set and our new Tetured 1212 cardstock! It was my son's 6th birthday party. I haven't added the journalling yet.

Pick A Petal CASE

I discovered a gorgeous card on SLS by scrapbookgirl44 and just had to CASE it! I totally loved the colours. I did two cards with the same concept.

Colours are Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip & Kraft.

Priceless

This is another stamp set that I wasn't going to buy when I first saw it, but over time have fell in love with it! This card was a make and take at our retreat. It doesn't open like a usual card. You untie the ribbon to open the flap. See the little embossed circles at the top and bottom of the card! I love playing with the Crop a dile! It makes setting eyelets a breeze, and it's soooo silent and take no effort at all!

Colours here are Orchid Oppulence and Purely Pomegranate!

INKcredible Retreat 2008!

We had an awesome weekend at our first INKcredible Stampin' & Scrappin' Retreat at Mount Tamborine! We had 34 ladies and one gentleman attend and the feedback we got was AMAZING! I'm so happy everyone had a great time and we'll definately be conducting more! If you'd like to receive details on future retreat contact me HERE

Something different for me.

Wasn't too sure if I liked this stamp set (Baroque Motifs), but now that I've played with it and seen other things done with it, it's really growing on me. I'm still not thrilled with this card but I figured I'd better post something! I've been busy organising our INKcredible Stampin' & Scrappin' Retreat which is less than two weeks away now!

Only the cream cardstock opens upwards and the slot keeps it shut. The colours are taken from the Stampin' Up! Colour Wheel! They are Really Rust, Always Artichoke and Elegant Eggplant.
