My good run of posting well and truly ended! Sorry! My Stampin' Mojo took a vacation, life with 4 kids got the better of me (though I did get to go see Sex & The City AGAIN on Sat night LOL) and today my 4yo daughter had to have an operation, but, I thought I'd pop in quickly (my wonderful mother is cooking dinner for us) and let you know that the new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue is coming soon and starts on August 1st! I should have copies within the next 1-2 weeks, so if you would like a copy, please contact me here and let me know your postal address! Fun & Fast

So here's a couple of cards I made yesterday when one of my lovely downlines came over to stamp! I haven't really used this set yet, so thought it was time. It
s called Fun & Fast Notes! It's very cute.
this one has some Berry Bliss paper and is using colours Pretty in Pink & Close to Cocoa as well as the Fine Lace background stamp.


This next one is Brocade Blue, So Saffron & Mellow Moss. The flowers are the Fast Flowers wheel and there's a little bit of the gorgeous Moss Taffeta ribbon.

Well I'm on a bit of a blogging roll at the moment and so I can't break the momentum! Here's a scrapbooking page of my darling daughter. It isn't strictly SU but I've used the Big Deal Alphabet to stamp up her name and cut it out, and the Crop A Dile to do the cry embossed circles at the top sides. I did get a couple of cards made today but the sunlight was horrible this afternoon so I'll take pics of them tomorrow...my in laws arrive for a visit tomorrow, so I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to stamp for the next week....OH and if you are a Sex & The City fan and haven't seen the movie yet.....GO NOW!!!! It was GREAT!!!! I also don't think I've been to a movie where everone was taking photos of themselves in the cinema before the movie started!!! It was a hoot!

Tonight's the Night!!

OMG I am soooo excited!!! Guess where I am going tonight!!!!! To see Sex And The City the Movie!!!! I've been waiting FOREVER!!!!! I've got my tissues packed and a new pair of shoes ready!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if I like this card either. I challenged myself with a colour combo off our Colour Wheel - Pixi Pink, Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant. I also used a set I haven't used before - Office Accoutrement...(oh and I also used the FANTASTIC Sanded background stamp!)....And this is the result! The colours aren't quite right in the pic...it's such a sunny day today!!

It's so great to see some rain! It's perfect weather to say in bed all day! I wish! But I did get this card done, though I'm not that happy with it! At least I have something to post! LOL
